I was working, working, working non-stop!
Although I was making enough money to cover the business expenses and pay everyone, I wasn’t left with much in my pocket. Basically, I was working for everyone else! Everyone was happy except me!!
One summer, during the slow season, I was tired of not having enough money and hitting an invisible wall that wouldn’t let me move forward to achieve my goals. I knew I had to make a change, but I felt stuck because I didn’t want to spend more money!
I made a decision that changed everything.
I decided to hire an assistant, even though I couldn’t afford anything else! I made the decision to invest in someone to free up my time so I could focus on growing my business, making more money, and achieving my goals.
It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was the best investment I made for my business. My sales doubled in the following months!
I had time to set clear goals, share them with my assistant, and consistently follow up to ensure that the goals were met every week and month. I never had to worry about paying my assistant; instead, I had more money in my pocket each month!
I learned three very important things:
Asking for help is an act of humility and trust. In other words, letting go of control… which, in the end, doesn’t really help.
Focusing on the important things is key to getting results. I was able to delegate, receive more feedback, and truly work on growing and achieving my goals.
Working non-stop doesn’t necessarily mean earning more. There are smarter ways to generate income.
Money can be a huge block… I see it everywhere! It can paralyze you many times. If you’re struggling with money, just think about this: “What would my life look like in three months if I keep doing the same thing in the same way?”
Be brave and make some magic!
